Acanthopleuroceras valdani Ammonite Fossil
This image is of a flattened ammonite fossil called Acanthopleuroceras valdani. It was found in the Lias of Lyme Regis England. This animal swam the oceans during the Lower Jurassic Period.

Pleurotomaria anglica Gastropod Fossil
This image is of the Pleurotomaria anglica snail fossil. They are found in the different levels of the Lias of Lyme Regis England. This creature slunk along the ocean floor during the Lower Jurassic Period.

Terebratula Brachiopod Fossil
This picture is of a Terebratula sulcifera brachiopod fossil. It was found in Belgium. Fossil dates back to the Late Cretaceous Period (Cenomanian Stage).
Fossil displayed at the Museum of Natural History in Paris France August 2016.
