Here is a picture of two sets of fossil teeth from a primitive shark called
Ageleodus pectinatus (Agassiz, 1838). Note fingernails in picture of an idea of how small these fossils are. It existed in the Upper Devonian Period and was found in the Catskill Formation Duncannon Member of Red Hill Pennsylvania USA.
