Indiana Ordovician Crinoid Stems

All images have been magnified with a microscope 40x.  These fossils were found in Madison, Indiana (Jefferson County) located in the southeastern part of the state.  The formation might be Whitewater and the time period is Ordovician.  The Dry Dredger web pages on crinoid identification were used for this posting.

The first picture depicts maybe a Xenocrinus.  The next image might be a Plicodendrocrinus.

The third picture appears to be a Xenocrinus.

The fourth picture is a probably a Xenocrinus.

The last picture is a fragment of maybe a Plicodendrocrinus.

Thanks to Kenny for providing the research material.
