Crinoid Holdfast in Waldron Shale
Unidentified crinoid holdfast embedded in Waldron Shale of Clark County, Indiana. Currently working with the engraver to expose more of the fossil to see how extensive the root system is. Fossil dates to Middle Silurian Period.

Monticulipora mammulata Bryozoan
Monticulipora mammulata bryozoan fossil found in Bullitt County, Kentucky. This colony existed in the Ordovician Period. Next picture shows a closeup of the small holes where the zooids lived.

Eroded Crinoid Stem
An eroded fossilized crinoid stem found in the Fort Payne Formation of Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. Crinoid existed in the Mississippian Period.
