Eroded Spiny Crinoid Stem Fossil

 

Here is an image of an unidentified spiny crinoid stem fossil. It was found on a tombstone at St. Michael's Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. The stone is composed of Bedford limestone (aka Indiana limestone, Salem limestone) from Indiana. It dates to the Mississippian Period. Fossil is about 4 mm wide.

Glyptocrinus decadactylus Crinoid Calyx Fossil
