Here is an image of an unidentified water bird egg fossil. It was found in Wyoming, USA. The bird would have lived in the Eocene Epoch. Fossil was on display at The Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Milano (Milan Natural History Museum), Italy as of August 2019.

Information on fossilized bird eggs is scant and I have been searching for someone to identify a probable birds egg I have had in my collection. If you are interested in helping me determine precisely what I have I will send photos and provide further information. This particular fossil I have is in much better condition than the one shown here. It looks exactly like the one pictured in my Audubon Society Norrh American Field Guide. I will await your response.
