Here is a picture of a fossil that appears to be an Agaricrinites wortheni crinoid plate. It was found in the Harrodsburg Limestone of Floyd County, Indiana USA. The fossil dates to the Mississippian Period.

Agaricrinites wortheni
Here is a picture of a fossil that appears to be an Agaricrinites wortheni crinoid plate. It was found in the Harrodsburg Limestone of Floyd County, Indiana USA. The fossil dates to the Mississippian Period.

Is this from the same crinoid with the oval shaped stem plates that also twist as they go up? Kind of like a helix?
