Bothriolepis canadensis Fish Fossil


This image is of a placoderm (bottom-feeding fish) fossil aka Bothriolepis canadensis (Whiteaves, 1880) on display at Mace Brown Museum of Natural History (August 2017). It was found in Quebec, Canada and dates to the Devonian Period (380 million years ago).
