Today's post is a very rare find. A Silurian Period blastoid fossil found in the Waldron Shale. It was found in Clark County Indiana USA. The fossil appears to be a Decaschisma pentalobus. It is about 7 mm tall. Thanks to Kenny for the image and yes you were right you would one day find a blastoid in the Waldron Shale. :)

Lichenalia cocentrica Bryozoan Fossil
These image appear to be the Lichenalia cocentrica bryozoan fossil. They existed in the Silurian Period. The fossils were found in the Waldron Shale of Clark County, Indiana USA. Thanks to Kenny for the images.
