Arachnophyllum Colonial Coral Fossil

These images are of an Arachnophyllum mammillaire (Owen) colonial coral fossil. It was found in the Louisville Limestone of Jefferson County, Kentucky. The fossil dates to the Middle Silurian Period.

Thanks to Kenny for letting me take pictures of it.

Oooo, very nice. Looks like it's a light blue from the quartz preservation. Can you post a closer view of the individual corallites?

Whoops, the fossil is not that blue. I was using a fluorescent light as an illumination source and it made the specimen too blue. So sad! I adjusted the color and reloaded it to the blog.
Also thanks to Kenny for pointing out the 3rd image of the bottom of the fossil was a different coral. I replaced that an image of the bottom of the Arachnophyllum.
