Dokophyllum intertrium Horn Coral Fossil


This horn coral fossil was discovered in the Waldron Shale of Clark County, Indiana USA. It appears to be a Dokophyllum intertrium (Hall). The fossil dates to the Middle Silurian Period (Wenlockian). Fossil is about 3 cm wide at top and 4 cm tall.

Favosites cristatus Coral Fossil






This coral fossil was found in the Waldron Shale of Clark County, Indiana USA. It appears to be a Favosites cristatus Davis.The fossil dates to the Middle Silurian Period (Wenlockian).

Caenisites Ammonite Fossil


This image is of a Caenisites ammonite fossil. It was found in the Lias of Lyme Regis England. This creature swam the oceans during the Lower Jurassic Period.

Fossil on display at the Lyme Regis Museum in England as of August 2016.
