Turritella of Texas
This gastropod Turritella sp. lived in the Eocene. Specimen found in the Stone City Formation (aka Whiskey Bridge) of Brazos River, near Bryan, Texas.

This next pictures clearly shows a boring hole in the shell. Looks like this gastropod might have gotten preyed upon.

Falsifusus ludovicianus
The gastropod Falsifusus ludovicianus lived in the Eocene. Specimen found in the Stone City Formation (aka Whiskey Bridge) of Brazos River, near Bryan, Texas.

Petrodus
Dermal denticle of a Paleozoic shark called Petrodus. Found in the Indian Springs Formation of Crawford County, Indiana. Shark swam around in Mississippian Period seas. Fossil is about 5 mm in diameter. Pictures taken under microscope at 23x.
