Romingeria vannula Coral


A beautiful specimen about 3 cm wide of a Romingeria vannula coral fossil.  Found in the Silurian Louisville Limestone of Jefferson County, Kentucky.  Thanks to Kenny for the photographs.

Rhipidomella? Brachiopod

Rhipidomella sp. brachiopod from the Mississippian Period Borden Formation, New Providence Shale Member of Clark County, Indiana.

Rhynchotreta cuneata Brachiopod


A rare find in the Waldron Shale of Clark County, Indiana is the Rhynchotreta cuneata brachiopod.  This animal existed in the Middle Silurian Period.
