Unidentified Fossil from Indiana

 This black fossil is somewhat of a puzzle.  It was found in the Jeffersonville Limestone of Clark County, Indiana, USA.  This layer would be Middle Devonian (approximately 390 million years ago).  It is mixed in the remains of crinoid stems. Length is about 2.5 cm and it branches several times with maybe 18 offshoots.

Is it some sort of graptolite or plant remains washed in from another area?

Unknown Kope Formation Fossils

Is this some sort of tooth or a spine?  While investing the trace fossil I presented in the post a few days ago with the microscope, I noticed this brown-amber colored object.  My cousin suggested it might be part of a conodont. Rock plate was found in Carroll County, Kentucky in the Kope Formation of the Ordovician Period.  All images on this page are at 40x magnification with a microscope.

This last fossil might be some sort of coral.  I magnified thinking it might be a bryozoan that are common in the area but the pores look too big.

Unknown Devonian Fossil

Here is a fragment of a Devonian fossil found in Clark County, Indiana. It has a pentagon shape on one side and remnants of a series of tube like structures on the other. When I see 5 of something in a fossil, I think crinoid calyx. It is about 2 cm by 2 cm in size and the side with the holes has about 24 openings.

Mississippian Rock with Unknown Fossil

This fossils looks like some sort of stem creature. It reminds me of a smoothed blastoid but this could be a pseudo fossil.

It is just a distinct shape but no real lines showing details.
