Waldron Shale Graptolite - Acanthograptus?
Unidentified graptolite found in Waldron Shale (Silurian Period) of Jennings County, Indiana USA.
Specimen 2 cm tall and 1 cm wide. It looks like undetermined identification #1 in the The Silurian Experience Field Guide on the Rochester Shale page 78.
UPDATE (May-2020): Primitive Worlds Rochester Shale web site now lists that as likely Acanthograptus sp.
