Athleta spinosa Gastropod Fossil

This French fossil is called Athleta spinosa from the Eocene Epoch (Paleogene Period). Named by Linnaeus in 1758 (Conus spinosus). Specimen was found in Oise, France.  Learn more at Paleobiology Database.
