Buxtenia scabricula Brachiopod Fossil

These images are of a Buxtenia scabricula (J Sowerby) brachiopod fossil. It was found in Ashbian Limestone of Treak Cliff, Castleton, Derbyshire, England. The creature dates to Carboniferous Period (Visean).
